This module will provide a deeper insight into the complex inter relationship of selective abortions with the politics of safe abortion rights.
It offers a perspective on the current landscape sex determination, eugenics and safe abortion laws and policies and builds a better understanding of the barriers to the challenges to safe abortions.
This foundational knowledge is critical for anyone working in sexual and reproductive health and rights issues, especially those working on safe abortion rights, public health, public policy, international human rights, programme managers, healthcare providers, activists or volunteers.
